My work

I am the author of the book The Weight’s Over, Take Back Control (out in March 2025), the founder of ThinkingSlimmer.com and the creator of the Slimpod programme.

As a behavioural change specialist working in Harley Street, I dealt daily with people who were desperate to lose weight that their constant failure on diets was causing mental health issues.

They felt helpless. They had stopped believing life could any different and they had condemned themselves to being fat and unhappy for the rest of their lives.

I knew there was an answer to their plight so 15 years ago I used my neuroscience training to create an online programme the whole world could have access to – Slimpod.

Today more than 350,000 people in over 50 countries have become Slimpodders. I was excited to be asked to work with a major hospital in Manchester to help nurses retrain their brains to have a healthy new relationship with food.

And I was proud when the hospital won a prestigious NHS award for the work I did in creating the first sugar-free hospital restaurant in the UK.

I am in constant demand to speak at international healthcare conferences in London, Dubai, Prague and Milan.
