My mission
Fifteen years ago, during my training as a behavioural change specialist, I learned how to retrain the brain to lose weight and keep it off.
For me it was like walking through the wardrobe and into Narnia, the land of healthy eating, confidence, and self-esteem.
Scientists have discovered that the brain is programmed to block weight loss, which is why diets aren’t the long-term solution and why more than 90% of dieters end up heavier than they started.
The fact is, the Western world has a BIG problem. A public health emergency. We are in an obesity crisis and it’s getting worse every day.
My mission is to open people’s eyes to the scientific proof that being overweight isn’t something that‘s fixed and inevitable but is something that’s changeable
I want people to understand that we all have a choice and CAN take control over our bodies rather than them being in control of us.
We CAN break free from the diet trap and be liberated. We CAN have a normal, healthy relationship with food.
I envision a world where weight loss isn’t synonymous with struggle but is a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
As I said, it’s not luck, it’s science.
